Working at After Gateway

We currently have the following opportunities available for employment.

Needed - Openings -- Full-time, Part-time, and Substitutes --

Paraprofessionals (Hab Tech) needed for day health program serving developmentally disabled adults.  Work on individuals’ goals and assist with activities of daily living. 

Full-time employees work 5 days per week Monday through Friday from 8:30am - 3:30pm. Part-time employees work 3 or 4 days per week from 8:30am - 3:30pm depending on the participant's attendance days. Substitute employees work as needed week days from 8:30 am - 3:30pm.

All persons applying for employment at After Gateway are required to fill out an application (After Gateway Application) for employment, provide three references, and submit to a background check, a health care registry check, Medicaid fraud search, and a driving record check. Prospective employees must have a physical exam conducted by a licensed physician, or provide documentation of such, that indicates the general physical and mental health of the employee. In addition, a TB test is required within the past six (6) months. All new employees must show proof of current CPR and First Aid by a recognized national agency.

All new employees must provide a copy of high school or college diploma, copies of certifications and training, if germane to the position, and copies of medical licenses, if any.

All new employees receive orientation training.
